There is not a gay scene in Chania, however, there is a gay popular bar called Rogmi, in the center of the city. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the center, so you will have to either rent a car or take the bus to get there. Nonetheless, you will find many gay travelers in the city, especially during August!
The are several great beaches near the resort like Stalos Beach, Kalamaki Beach, Agioi Apostoloi Beach, Agia Marina Beach, Germaniko Pouli Beach and more. There is also a gay-popular beach in Chania, however it's 40 minutes driving from the hotel. The Beach is called Maherida!
