There are not any gay-only guest-houses in Corfu, however, many of the hotels and resorts around the island are gay-friendly. If you are a couple, we would recommend you to visit an adults-only hotel, which will ensure your total privacy and seclusion!
Beaches & Bars in Corfu that Every Gay Traveler would love!
Corfu does not have an organized gay scene, however, there is a gay bar in Chora called Silk, as well as various beaches across the island, attract mainly gay travelers. Some of them are actually nudist, so there is a lot of cruising going on as well!
Gay Tips
Corfu does not have a particularly organised gay scene but it still is a place where everyone is friendly no matter your orientation. However, being a small community on a small island, a discreet behavior in public places is always recommended.
Almyros is a nudist beach, located 40km north of Kerkyra (Corfu Chora), and the easternmost part of it, is frequented by gay men. Myrtiotissa and Issos beaches are also often visited by gay travelers!
Aghios Gordis is a popular pebbled beach that took its name from the nearby village and it is visited mainly by gay naturists. It is also a cruising beach.
Even though the majority of the bars and cafes in Corfu are gay & lesbian friendly, the best gay-friendly venues are located in Pelekas and Sidari. The lucky ones might even catch a gay party or a drag show, usually in middle summer.
Gay cruising in Corfu is still under development; There are certain gay cruising spots in front of the old fortress of Kerkyra and in Anemomylos region.
