Corfu Gay Guide

A guide to help you find the best hotels & places in Corfu for Gay travellers

MADE BY TBI HOTEL EXPERTS

Gay Corfu Guide 2019 | Gay Beaches, Bars, Hotels & More

Corfu is a popular island of the Ionian Sea known for its attractive secluded beaches with greenish-turquoise waters that every traveler loves. Even though the island does not feature a gay scene, you will find it very easy to meet with other fellow gay visitors, especially during the summer months June to August.

Are you searching for a accommodation in Corfu? Check out our amazing Hotel Collections here!

The gay acceptance on the island is at pretty high levels, however, you will not find many gay locals since it has a very low population. Corfu gets pretty crowded during the summer months, as it gets packed with all kinds of travelers, especially during August. There is not a local LGBT community, however, many Greek gay guys from every corner of Greece visit Corfu every year.

The island is known for its stunning beaches, however, there are many more things to do beyond that!

There are not any gay-only guest-houses in Corfu, however, many of the hotels and resorts around the island are gay-friendly. If you are a couple, we would recommend you to visit an adults-only hotel, which will ensure your total privacy and seclusion!

Gay Tips

Almyros is a nudist beach, located 40km north of Kerkyra (Corfu Chora), and the easternmost part of it, is frequented by gay men. Myrtiotissa and Issos beaches are also often visited by gay travelers!

Aghios Gordis is a popular pebbled beach that took its name from the nearby village and it is visited mainly by gay naturists. It is also a cruising beach.

Even though most of the bars and cafes in Corfu are gay-friendly, the most gay-popular venues are located at the villages of Pelekas and Sidari. If you are lucky, you might even encounter a gay party or a drag show, usually in mid-summer.

The gay cruising scene of Corfu is still under development. There are certain gay cruising spots in front of the old fortress of Kerkyra and in Anemomylos region, however they do not attract many men.
