Chiang Mai is Thailands second biggest city but it is nothing alike Bangkok, the glorious crowded capital. Even though Bangkok is the second most gay friendly city in the world, its small sister Chiang Mai does not have the same commercial gay life. The gay scene here is almost unseen as it is a more conservative and spiritual destination.
