La Thuile has become one of the top skiing destinations in Italy since 2016, when it was first discovered by the Women’s World Ski Championship that took place during that year. The resort has 74 slopes (13 black, 32 red, 29 blue), and 160km of skiing area.
Ideally, the slopes vary on difficulty, catering all kinds of skiers – from amateurs to professionals. Even if it’s your first-time skiing, there is a professional ski school which will make you a professional skier.
Even if, for some peculiar reason you do not like La Thuile’s slopes, you have various alternatives. Courmayeur Ski Resort is only 15 minutes away, Pila is at 35 minutes, and Chamonix is also at 30 Minutes with the highest skiing reaching 3275 m above sea level.
